HBD Isaac!

"You're HOW old?!"

"I'm FIVE!"

Isaac turns five today. :)
Hard to believe our baby is 5. But it's a delight to see him growing, changing, and becoming the unique little man he is.

It's challenging to get a picture of Isaac sitting still or NOT making some sort of animated face or gesture. That's just the way he is. He is the one who sings or talks nonstop and it seems he's always moving - even when he is sitting or laying down.

Isaac hand picked the activities for his birthday. First we ate lunch at Culver's - Butterburgers, fries, and custard for everyone! Next, we visited Whittle Shortline Railroad in Valley Park. This store has several large play tables filled with tracks, bridges, buildings, trains, and other cool railroad related toy accessories. After playing for awhile, we took a drive down to Lone Elk Park to see the Elk, Bison, and deer. We stopped at the wonderful World Bird Sanctuary, where we hooted with the owls and tried to get the raven to talk with us. [The birds living at the WBS are amazing and beautiful. Check out the WBS blog for pics and video. We love visiting the WBS often. ]
Our evening ended at Walmart where Isaac picked out some more Star Wars Galactic Heroes (to add to our collection of "a gillion") and a Lego Troll Assault Wagon set (mom rolling eyes).

Happy Fifth Birthday, Isaac!

HAPPY 5th BIRTHDAY ISAAC!

We hope you are having an awesome day! I remember the night you were born because I (Aunt Donna) was blessed to be able to be there. You are a blessing!

It's funny you all went to the Whittle Train Store because our family went yesterday (Friday) the the Whittle Factory in Louisiana, MO and went on through the factory and then played with the trains. We had a great time.

God bless and enjoy the day!

Love ya, Uncle Chris, Aunt Donna, Christian, Seth, Bethany, Josie and Uriah

Wow! Love your blog header. And I can't believe he's 5. It was just last month we were talking about how GREAT natural childbirth would be, right? LOL He's a cutie. May the Lord bless him with a long, healthy life.
