Summertime Field Trip (yes, more pics from Jeff City!)

The rear of the building, overlooking the Missouri River, has the "Fountain of the Centaurs," (huge, captivating Greek-like scultpures).

Behind the fountain is a bronze relief of the signing of the Louisiana Purchase, featuring Livingston, Monroe, and Marbois.

One of our favorites was the cascading waterfall which descended upon a tiered garden of lovely annuals.
