At about age 4 Lucas went through a "stage" where his attitude and behavior quickly turned from sweet, affectionate, and cuddly to all around sour. He smiled less and sneered more (pictured below). We had a nickname for him that was less than flattering and most people gasp when we divulge it. Suffice it to say that he had a real bad attitude. We caught him mid-sneer in this picture. You can see by the hands-on-the-hips pose that he meant business......

I never once thought about drawing on photos of my kids.
