Sledding at Jefferson Barracks

There is no lack of childlike desire to just PLAY among the adults in our house. Every winter our family anticipates at least one or two snowfalls good enough for sledding. Thankfully, we usually get our wish.

If the snow is heavy enough, the local schools are closed for a day or two and many in our neighborhood can be found sledding at Jefferson Barracks. Besides a winding walking trail, cork ball fields, and a myriad of wildlife, there are several prime sledding spots. If you live in ST. Louis and haven't visited Jefferson Barracks, check it out!
