Worth the Trip

We had our first taste of Shakespeare's pizza a few years ago and got hooked. Since we live about an hour and a half away, we don't get there too often. We've made it a pit stop on our way to Great Wolf Lodge in Kansas City for family vacation the past 2 years, and when our cousin Lainey got married down at Mizzou last June,we got our Shakespeare's fix as well.

Knowing we were headed to Jefferson City for a wedding, we decided to go the 20 or so miles out of the way to treat ourselves to our favorite pizza. It was worth the trip. Yum!

We love the food, the atmosphere, and the fun! You can watch the pizza making from the window in front of the kitchen or from a window outside the store. They always throw the kids a ball of dough (made on site several times daily) to play with while they wait! There are no paper napkins, only big wash cloths to wipe the oozing cheesy goodness off your hands and face. The decor is a mix of "funky vintage", and there is a nice big patio out back if you like to dine outdoors. They are also big on everyone washing their hands before and after eating. Sounds like a good idea to me.

Check out the link below for more info, and make sure you visit Shakespeare's the next time you are in or near Columbia.

It's absolutely Columbia's finest.
Try it! You'll love it!
