For the first time in many years, we spent our 4th of July in St. Louis instead of visiting my sister in TN. We sure missed spending time with Shannon and her family this year for the holiday! We especially missed shooting fireworks in her huge backyard, eating her famous ribeye dinner, playing with her three dogs, jumping on the trampoline, and swimming in her pool.
No big celebrations for us today, just a relaxing day at home. The boys LOVE to swim, so we took a swim in the neighbor's pool. Isaac is still very attached to his "floatie" ring, as pictured, but it doesn't stop him from working on his "360 jump"! He never quite makes the turn, but he is working on it. :)

No traveling for us this 4th of July either. Really wished we were up in St Louis this year...we were looking forward to seeing everyone. We had a relaxing day at home too...at the pool too of course. Then we went to a neighboring small town for a 4th of July Celebration with some friends. The fireworks display was really good and we had a wonderful time. It's great to be an American!
