The theme for the Scouts 2008 Blue Gold Banquet was "Happy Chinese New Year".
Again, there was a Feller's Cake contest, and of course the rules were the same - no help from mom! I could make suggestions for the subject of the cake, but beyond that, I am banned from helping.
Although I did came up with the idea of a Tangram, Jeff took it and ran! Because there were so many creative entries, each cake earned a special ribbon.

In case you didn't know, here's some info from Wikipedia:
Tangram (Chinese; literally "seven boards of skill") is a dissection puzzle. It consists of seven pieces, called tans, which fit together to form a shape of some sort. The objective is to form a specific shape with seven pieces. The shape has to contain all the pieces, which may not overlap.

Very creative Jeff! Another fine cake!
Thanks! I always tell J that he should make the bday cakes, but I usually end up ordering one or making them myself.
